D12

Pre-investment multi-entry

D12 is the pre-investment visa built for people who cannot sit still for six months. The same surveying, the same feasibility work as C12 — but you fly out when you need to, and a fresh 180 days is waiting when you come back.

D12

What it covers

  • Unlimited entries while the visa is valid — typically one to two years
  • 180 days on each arrival, starting over every time you land
  • Site surveys, feasibility studies and due diligence
  • Meetings with partners, notaries, consultants and officials

Where it stops

  • No revenue, invoicing or sales from inside Indonesia
  • No salary drawn for work performed here
  • Preparation only — running a founded company needs an investor KITAS
  • Each stay is capped at 180 days, however long the visa runs

Questions people ask

When should I choose D12 over C12?
When the project needs you in more than one country. C12 is single entry and ends the moment you leave; D12 survives every departure and resets the clock on return.
What happens once I actually invest?
The permit changes with the situation. Founding a PT PMA and taking shares in it moves you onto a residence permit for shareholders rather than a visit visa — a separate application once the company exists.
Can I bring my family on a D12?
Dependants are handled case by case and depend on the permit and its duration. It is worth settling before you file rather than after — tell your agent who is coming.

Not sure this is the right one?

Tell us where you are and how long you want to stay. An agent reads the case and names the visa that actually fits — before you pay for anything.
